Amphibious/ float planes endorsements?

Hi just curious about float planes , endorsements needed like Constant speed prop, tail wheel or other?

Type rating with amphibious rating or do you need that before?

I can't seam to find any smaller planes in QLD and also places with them to train up here just beavers or Cessna caravan.
I'd like eventually to aim towards getting endorsed in the beaver. But that's a bit off yet.
