Deputy Chief Pilot/Chief Flying Instructor

Schofields Flying Club Ltd T/A Sydney Flight College, based at Bankstown Airport, is regarded as a leader in flight training for both private and commercial pilots. Our business is expanding significantly, driven by our reputation for an excellent aircraft fleet, first class facilities and strong customer service.

The Deputy CP/CFI will report to the CP/CFI and be responsible for planning and delivering ab-initio to advanced flight training, and assisting the CP/CFI with compliance and instructor management duties.

Key qualifications we require include:

Grade 1 instructor rating
M/E training approval
Current command M/E IR with 3 renewals
Current dangerous goods certificate

Essential experience:

2000 hours total aeronautical experience
500 hours instructional experience as a Grade 1 Instructor
200 hours M/E command
50 hours M/E training experience
250 hours commercial experience other than flying training
100 hours IFR flight other than flying training
250 hours instrument rating training experience
250 hours instructor training experience

The successful candidate will have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, and be devoted to the principals of customer service.

An understanding of a Safety Management System would be highly regarded.
