The impact of the drone depicted in the footage shows an effectt similar to a "shaped charge" or squash head round, where the initial impact forms a template and the inertia/energy of the mass following close behind pushes that template forward, spreading out to wherever the least point of resistances are.
Composite speeds of 200-300kts and objects (birds/drones)around 2kg in collision generate impact forces measured in tons.
